I was given an assignment in my color photography class to shoot a series. We had to have a minimum of 10 images all themed to a certain concept of our choice. I chose to do water towers because there are so many in Southeastern Idaho...so I thought. Actually, there was barely 10 for me to find reasonably. I drove from Rexburg to Sugar, Ashton, Driggs, Teton, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, Fort Hall and Pocatello hunting for these towers. Some cities had them, others didn't. At first my composition was ok. I was only including the water tower at the beginning until the 5th or 6th tower when I realized I could include it's surroundings to enhance the composition and add character to the towers who already had personalities of their own. Some are massive, small, old and modern. This was my favorite assignment of the semester. Can you guess which towers are from which cities?
