This is a type project that I had a year ago where we were instructed to design a typeface using abstract materials and different mediums. I cut the letters out of styrofoam using a CAD Hotwire program and covered them with rubber cement. I lit them up and watched them burn. I had to photograph them rapidly to get the right shot of fire per letter. Each letter was ignited and shot individually then compiled in photoshop.
